About the work: FOG EL NAKHAL is a vibrant fusion of typography and music, created as part of an Arabic typography course where I designed my own functional Arabic font—Habibi Font. Inspired by the Habibi Funk music genre, which reflects the spirit of reintroducing and twisting old Arabic music into a fresh, contemporary form. In this poster, I used Habibi Font to display the lyrics of a classic Arabic song, visually bridging the past and present. The design is bursting with color, embodying a contemporary aesthetic that contrasts yet complements the nostalgic essence of the song’s lyrics.
