ZAINA HAJ ISSA

Zaina (b. 2001) is a Palestinian designer and printmaker based in Riyadh. Her work is deeply rooted in nostalgia and personal memories, drawing from past experiences, places, and objects to create pieces that evoke a sense of longing and connection.

Her passion for print production transformed into a love for printmaking after attending a silkscreen printing workshop during her sophomore year of university. Since then, she has developed a process that begins with analog iterations before transitioning to digital, allowing her to experiment while maintaining the tangible essence of traditional print techniques.

Zaina's work has been showcased in Six Degrees (2024), and her approach to self-expression in design is influenced by Elliot Ulm. She aspires to collaborate with Wael Marcos, further pushing the boundaries of her creative practice.
