Maryam is an Iraqi multimedia designer with a deep interest in Arabic type and layout design. She enjoys exploring creative techniques and directions through poster designs, drawing much of her inspiration from vintage Arabic music album covers and film posters.

Lately, she’s been inspired by classic Arab music—the voices, the emotions, the timeless beauty—letting them guide her creative process.

She’s constantly experimenting with new styles and techniques in Arabic type and lettering—often blending classic influences with modern bold layouts, and learning something new with every new project.
