Collection: FARAH FAYYAD

Farah (b. 1990) is a graphic designer and typographer specializing in bold, stylized, and contemporary Arabic typography. Originally from Beirut and now based in Amsterdam, her work merges traditional Arabic script with modern design aesthetics.

Her journey into Arabic calligraphy began under the guidance of master calligrapher Mokhtar El Baba, where she developed a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship of classical scripts. She draws inspiration from ancient manuscripts, particularly Eastern Kufi and Maghrebi scripts, reinterpreting them in a contemporary visual language.

Farah works primarily in the cultural field, collaborating with museums, musicians, and publishers to create impactful typographic works that honor Arabic heritage while pushing the boundaries of modern design.
