About the work: This piece marks a new exploration in my artistic practice, blending hand-drawn elements with AI-generated design. At its core, a meticulously hand-drawn square is filled with interconnected line-art faces, embedded within waves of intricate and spontaneous text—words and thoughts shaped by whatever music I was listening to or thinking in the moment. Surrounding this organic center is AI-generated work, a reflection of my curiosity about AI as a creative tool. The AI analyzed and mimicked my patterns, forming a border that echoes my original work—yet with a key distinction. Unlike my hand-drawn section, which carries meaning through text, the AI’s interpretation transforms these letters into abstract swirls, imitating their form without understanding their essence. This piece is an exploration of collaboration—between the human hand and the machine. It invites the viewer to question the role of AI in art: Can it truly understand, or does it merely replicate?
